MILPITAS, Calif. — July 13, 2016 — Elo, a global supplier of touchscreen solutions, today announced the availability of the I-Series for Windows® fully integrated touchscreen computer. Available in 15.6-inch and 21.5-inch widescreen displays with a mere 1.5-inch depth, the rugged I-Series for Windows computer’s large tablet form factor provides a fully integrated platform for public-facing interactive applications in retail, hospitality, gaming, corporate and medical environments. Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and an embedded web cam work seamlessly with existing I-Series universal snap-in peripherals (EMV, NFC/RFID reader, barcode reader, MSR, fingerprint scanner) and mounting options (poles, shelf & floor stands, shelf & wall mounts) to create a versatile interactive display solution. Specifically designed for demanding environments, the integrated system meets EN62262 IK06 & UL60950 ball drop impact protection and is backed by a three-year warranty extendable up to five years.

This streamlined aesthetic provides for easy cleaning with no edges to trap dirt and grease. This all-in-one computer comes with powerful processing options including the 6th generation Intel® Skylake i5 processor with HD530 graphics for top-end performance and the fan-less Braswell Celeron processor ideal for ultra-low noise environments. Both models are available pre-installed with Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 or no OS configurations.
With up to four USB 3.0 ports and GPIO, as well as a USB 2.0 expansion hub option that provides connectivity for distributed POS applications, the I-Series all-in-one system provides flexibility for applications.
