ELO INTRODUCES NEW eSAW TOUCHSCREEN TECHNOLOGYNew Technology Delivers Affordable Multi-Touch Performance with Crystal Clear Graphics
DALLAS — May 12, 2016 — Elo, a leading global supplier of touchscreen solutions, today unveiled eSAW™ touchscreen technology, the next generation of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology. The new technology is powered by Elo’s latest 3200-series touch controller enabling an extremely sensitive multi-touch screen with the beauty of clear glass for bright, vivid graphics. With a 4x touch sensitivity improvement over current SAW technology, eSAW meets the growing demand for a high performance touchscreen at a lower price point than projected capacitive (PCAP) screens.
Elo’s IntelliTouch® family of SAW touchscreens can scale across a wide range of screen sizes (4” – 55”) without performance degradation. The 3200-series controller offers the greatest sensitivity available on a SAW touchscreen, boasting a significant improvement in the touch activation force when compared to current SAW products. The eSAW packaged solution comes with Elo’s patented zero bezel IntelliTouch design to ensure smooth surfaces for optimal user experience and excellent optical performance. Product customization on new IntelliTouch solutions, such as logos, clear icons, border buttons, curved form factors and other enhancements can be included during the design phase.

Elo will demonstrate eSAW and other Elo reinventions in Booth #1429 at the Moscone Convention Center for Display Week 2016 in San Francisco on May 24-26, 2016 and Booth K0630 at the MRT Nangang Exhibition Center Station for Computex in Taipei on May 31-June 4, 2016.
