Recently 3M Company filed suit in Delaware claiming that metal mesh conductor technology used in a small number of Elo products infringe certain US patents. Elo intends to defend itself vigorously against these claims, challenging both the patents’ validity and whether any of Elo’s products actually infringe. Elo foresees no supply disruptions or change in commercial terms for its customers as a result of this action by 3M.
