On June 5th 2018 Elo was presented with the Green Enterprise award from the local government agency called Suzhou Environmental Protection Bureau.
There are over 2.5 million companies in the Suzhou area and only 943 of them were selected to undergo the certification process for this very prestigious program. Elo was one out of only 189 companies to pass the very strict requirements and receive the award.
To obtain this classification Enterprises must meet national or local pollutant discharge standards and environmental management requirements, they must be compliant with laws and regulations and positively has great social influence as defined by the agency.
Elo has been very active in a number of sustainability programs over the years and we are very excited to add this one.
